Inventors Headquarters is proud to announce that Bill Guess will officially be giving a hand at the IHQ message board answering patent law questions for our visitors.

Bill, as some of you know, was recently selected from over 2000 inventors to appear with his inventions at this years Invent Now Expo held at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. Air and Hotels were provided for the finalist. This event was co-sponsored by the United States Patent Office, The National Inventors Hall of Fame, QVC and Popular Mechanics. Big Time!

Bill has 7 patents pending in the U.S., the U.K., France and Canada and with the exception of the translation and filing of his French application, Bill has done all his own patent work.

Bill is also the headmaster at www.patentlessons.com a correspondence course for inventors. Inventors are taught how to write, file and prosecute patent applications at the United States Patent and Trademark office.

Bill states: "These lessons were designed for inventors by inventors and took three years to write. We've tried to make them as simple as possible. The student must memorize the basics, and we provide the structure and mechanisms to make that happen. It's actually fun once you acquire what we call 'the moment of clarity'. Patenting is a game, much like chess, using words as the pieces.
Right now we're in the middle of an overhaul. The core lessons 1,2 and 3 are being reformatted to ship out whole. We're predicting a shipping date of May 15 of this year. The price for the core lessons is $389. (about what you'd spend for an hour and a half with a patent lawyer). However, mention that you heard about us from IHQ and receive a $40 discount, making the core lessons $349.

We're very proud of our students some of whom have pending, (non provisional) applications themselves as the result of our lessons. The response has been tremendous.

And so even though we're temporarily 'down' right now, feel free to come to the site and by all means take the mini-lesson to see if you have the 'right stuff', we bet that you do. The mini lesson will be coming down in May and will become the introductory component of the first lesson. The mini lesson has a test with answers to see how you do. Keep taking the test till you get all the questions right. It's very important material.

If you're really hot to trot we can ship you Lesson 1 at our old price of $119 (sorry no discount on this one, unless you purchase the remainder, we'll work it out)

I'm very proud to be associated with Inventors Headquarters. The message board is the best on the web, a statement heard over and over from the visiting inventors. I believe as we go along the questions will get tougher and tougher. But of course, the newbie ones are still welcome, unlike some of the inventor news groups out there that do nothing but ridicule the uninformed. It's quite sad. None of that happens on Randy's board, it's a class act. You want see hustling lawyers either. Randy's rules struck me as odd at first. I didn't see the need to be so tight. Man oh man do I ever see it now.

Anyway, please come by the site. If you have any questions you'll find my email address there. But please don't ask me questions about patent law via email, 'share them with the class' on the IHQ message board! If you become our student, then we'll work through questions specific to the lessons via emails back and forth.

Thanks and hang in there,

"Bill Guess"
